Colby-Sawyer College welcomes our first-year students.

Bates College graduated 484 students from 32 states and 37 countries on May 31, 2015. Cumulatively, the Class of 2015 performed 80,000 hours of community service, exemplifying Bates' commitment to community learning and civic action.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

The following local residents were among more than 1,123 students from Roger Williams University to receive their degrees as part of the Class of 2015.

The following student has been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring semester of the 2014-2015 academic year.

At the University of Rhode Island's 129th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 2015, about 3,200 undergraduate and 660 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.50 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

Springfield College Recognizes 2015 Graduates

Husson University is pleased to announce the Spring 2015 President's List. Students who earn President's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of between 3.80 to 4.0 during the period.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the spring semester 2015. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

These students have been inducted into the Lambda Beta Society, the national honor society for Respiratory Care.

The largest graduating class in WPI's history, 1,680 students, received their degrees beneath a large, billowing tent that shielded graduates and well-wishers from the sun that occasionally peeked from behind generally cloudy skies. In all, the Institute awarded 956 bachelor's degrees, 682 master's degrees, and 42 PhDs during its 147th Commencement exercises.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the Commencement Ceremony held Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Durham, N.H. Students who received the honor of Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.7-4.0; students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.69; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.2-3.49.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Named in honor of the first president of WPI, this honor recognizes outstanding performance by first-year students.

Nearly 800 students at The University of Findlay recently participated in the annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and community.

Recognizing outstanding student academic achievement, Assumption College has named more than 500 students to the undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

Approximately 2,125 students have made the Fall 2014 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.
